Week 3: Stat Leaders

Coaches are encouraged to submit stat leaders to MDHigh.com each week's game. The following is the list of Week 3 leaders, which will be updated throughout the weekend:


RUSHING LEADERS (125 yards minimum)


311, Delonte Waters, Parkside. On 23 carries with two touchdowns in Parkside's 47-25 loss to Easton. Waters has 657 rushing yards and seven touchdowns in three games.

302, Khalil Wilson, Albert Einstein. On 18 carries with two touchdowns in a 29-7 victory over Rockville.

246, Shamik Perry, DuVal, Senior. On nine carries with three touchdowns in a 48-7 win over High Point.

229, Izaiah Sneed, Edgewood. On 19 carries with two rushing touchdowns and three overall touchdowns in Edgewood's 34-0 win over Joppatowne.

225, Jacob Fitch, La Plata. On 15 carries with three touchdowns in a 42-2 win over J.M. Bennett.

218, Coleman Blackston, Dunbar. On 15 carries with one touchdown in a 27-0 win over City.

177, Michael Anderson, Howard, Senior. On 25 carries with three touchdowns in a 35-34 loss to Atholton.

143, Joe Peaker, Perryville, Senior. On six carries with a pair of rushing touchdowns in Perryville's 41-8 win over Havre de Grace.

135, Moses Vines, Sherwood, Senior. On 20 carries with two touchdowns in a 31-14 win over Gaithersburg.

134, Zach Abey, Archbishop Spalding. On 10 carries with two touchdowns in additon to 114 yards passing in a 35-28 win over Cape Henlopen (Del.).

133, Ryan Jones, Hereford, Senior. On 15 carries with three touchdowns in a 41-13 loss to Franklin.


PASSING LEADERS (200 yards minimum)


404, Deryk Kern, Westminster. Completed 17 of 24 passes for a public school state record-tying seven touchdowns in a 49-14 victory over Linganore.

351, Connor Cox, South River, Senior. Completed 30 of 55 passes with four touchdowns in the loss to Broadneck.

330, Drew Santos, Glen Burnie. Completed 10 passes with four touchdowns in a 26-6 win over Northeast.

252, Danny Copeland, Bullis, Senior. Completed 14 of 20 passes with three touchdowns in a 34-13 win over St. Mary's.

251, Brandon Battle, North Point, Sophomore. Completed 16 of 23 passes with three touchdowns in a 34-6 win over Thomas Stone

244, Jamal Worthington, C.M. Wright. Completed 6 of 17 passes, two going for touchdowns in C.M. Wright's 20-18 win over North East-Cecil.

219, Brandon Blanchard, Chesapeake-AA. Completed 10 of 11 passes with one touchdowns in a 29-13 win over Southern-AA.

215, Matty Callahan, Northwest, Senior. Completed 10 of 11 passes with five touchdowns in a 55-0 win over Magruder.

204, Jackson Thornton, Franklin, Senior. Completed 8 of 16 passes with three touchdowns in the loss to Hereford.

202, Jaelon Maoney, Easton, Sophomore. Completed 7 of 10 passes with three touchdowns in the Warriors' 47-25 win over Parkside.


RECEIVING LEADERS (100 yards minimum)


188, Garrett Bean, Westminster, Senior. Caught seven passes with five going for touchdowns to equal the public school state record for receiving touchdowns in a game as the Owls handled Linganore 49-14.

181, Eric Young, South River. Made 13 catches with four touchdowns in the loss to Broadneck.

141, Tyler Cherigo, Manchester Valley. On five receptions with one touchdown in a 37-13 win over Smithsburg.

136, Bradley Metcalf, Westminster. Hauled in four receptions, one going for a touchdown in the Owls' win over Linganore.

125, Tyler Hall, C.M. Wright. On four receptions with one touchdown in C.M. Wright's victory.

101, Tyler Anderson, Linganore. On five catches during the Lancers' loss to Westminster.

100, Jvon Simmons, La Plata. Had six receptions in the win over J.M. Bennett.

100, Noah Spriggs, Bullis, Junior. Made three receptions, including a 46-yard touchdown reception in the win over St. Mary's.


DEFENSIVE LEADERS


Devin Shreve, Fort Hill. Made two interceptions in the win over MATHS.
