MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- Following the game, there were plenty of thoughts of disappointment, of frustration, of anger. And many were made for the world to see.

After Virginia Tech's 30-12 flub up loss at Miami, the Hokies' players took to Twitter to post their thoughts.

Sophomore rover Kyshoen Jarrett: "Soooooooooooo"

Freshman running back J.C. Coleman: "Spoon fed that W to Miami. #Respect to them though."

Junior linebacker Jack Tyler: "This is going to be a very long plane ride home..."

Junior kicker Cody Journell: "We don't play for the media, we don't play for the fans who turn their shoulder...we play ball to play ball"

One player who didn't give any thoughts was junior quarterback Logan Thomas. He declined to speak with the media after completing 19 of 37 passes for 199 yards and rushing for a career-high 124 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries. But Thomas also threw two interceptions and missed his receivers on some key plays.

In every media opportunity leading up to tonight's game, players spoke about the ACC championship being still within reach. It's safe to say that plane sailed early in tonight's game against the Hurricanes when they picked up a 14-3 lead.

It's tough to say where the Hokies go from here. Virginia Tech, at 4-5 (under .500 for the first time in 20 years) still has three games remaining, at home to Florida State a week from tonight, at Boston College and at home to Virginia.

Thomas might have followed suit with his teammates, expressing disappointment, vowing to play for pride as some of his teammates did or talking about what he'll do to rally his teammates. But the Hokies' most recognizable face, the leader of the offense chose not to.

Publisher Jason Stamm shared his thoughts of the game afterward however, inside Sun Life Stadium.
