Tuesday's Top Tigers

Tuesday's Top Tigers makes its return to PowerMizzou.com. A player's ranking one week has no bearing on his placement on the list the next week. Here is our take on the Tigers who had the best performances in the 14-7 loss to Florida:

Tuesday's Top Tigers
1 Kip Edwards, CB After missing most of last week with a neck injury, Edwards was very good both in coverage and in run support.NR
2 Sheldon Richardson, DT He simply did what he does. This is a first-team all-SEC player and a top ten draft pick in April. 3
3 Matt Hoch, DT Hoch had a sack and was more noticeable than in any other game this year. Back-to-back solid performances out of him. 4
4 Kony Ealy, DE Ealy batted down three passes and did a nice job helping bottle up the Gator ground game most of the day. NR
5 Andrew Wilson, LB Wilson helped force yet another fumble and made a few big hits as the Tiger defense had one of its best days of the year. NR
6 E.J. Gaines, CB Gaines had a big fumble recovery and helped more or less lock down the Gator passing game. 7
7 Dorial Green-Beckham, WR The argument can be made he should be higher. Six catches for 73 yards and easily the most complete game of his young career. NR
8 Elvis Fisher, OL Simply put, this was Fisher's best game of the year. Most of the pressure seemed to come from the right side on Saturday. NR
9 Evan Boehm, OL The left side of the line held up well. Boehm has been as advertised starting as a true freshmen against some of the nation's best defensive fronts. NR
10 Trey Barrow, P Barrow pinned the Gators deep three times and averaged better than 41 yards per punt. NR
11 Marcus Murphy, TB Murphy averaged 7.5 yards per offensive touch and had a couple of nice punt returns that gave the offense a chance late. 11
