Thomas Bates: The redshirt junior did an excellent job filling the shoes of senior standout D.J. Hayden, Bates was tied with a team high 11 tackles and has one pass broken up.

Phillip Steward: The senior anchor at linebacker capped off an excellent career with the Cougars on Saturday afternoon. He wasn't tops in tackles this week but did finish with eight tackles and a key interception early in the game when Tulane was driving which killed any momentum the Green Wave had.

Adrian McDonald: The true freshman had his biggest game of his young career on Saturday with eight tackles and two forced fumbles and is another example of the future that is yet to come for the Cougars.

Matt Hogan: The senior placekicker capped off his Cougar career in excellent fashion on Saturday going a perfect 4-of-4 on field goal attempts and converting all four of his PAT attempts as well.
