Halftime, and G-town leads by eight
USF is currently on a four-game losing streak. During that streak, the Bulls have been outrebounded offensively 67-25. Total rebounds weren't much closer - with Syracuse, Villanova, Louisville and Rutgers combining for a 181-119 advantage on the boards.
USF wins if...
Halftime update - hot is not a word I'd use to describe this performance. 9 of 29 and an anemic 1-14 from beyond the arc.
With the return of Kore White - who played sparingly, but effectively, USF leads on the glass by a 19-12 advantage, including a 7-2 advantage on the offensive side. But the Bulls still have to score.
see above comment... 1-14 is not what I'd call 'hot' from the arc. The 2-3 zone is proving to be effective. Collins, Poland and Martino Brock are not hitting from the outside. Poland has been good from inside, but Brock, Collins, Toarlyn Fitzpatrick and Rudd have all of three points.
Georgetown comes into the game without second leading scorere Greg Whittington - ruled ineligible earlier due to poor grades.
Whittington averaged 12.1 points and 7 rebounds a game and played an average of 35 minutes. It will be a big loss for the 12-3 (1-2) Hoyas.
Future Bulls in the house
If you think you've seen that guy before - you likely have. Most of the on-campus official visitors are expected to attend tonight's game. Great atmosphere in the newly revamped SunDome.
