How U-M's 2013 stats rank in program history

The Michigan basketball team put together a historic run in 2013, reaching the national title game for the first time in 20 years.

The Wolverines also saw legendary individual performances. Point guard Trey Burke became the second-ever player in program history to earn National Player Of The Year honors, joining Cazzie Russell (1965-66).

How did the 2012-13 Wolverines stack up, statistically, to some of the best teams in program history?

The team ranked in the top 10 in program history in nearly every team statistical category.

Burke broke the single-season program record for assists, collecting an impressive 253 this year, almost 20 more than the previous record holder, Darius Morris, who dished out 235 in 2010-11.

Burke's 2012-13 performance also shows up in the top 10 in program history of scoring and steals.
