Jeremy Gallon on The Huge Show

Gallon measured 5-7 1/4, the shortest player at the Shrine Game, but told the Big Ten Network he was anxious to prove himself Saturday.

"Size don't matter, man," he said. "It's about how tough you are, and it's about the level of your will. I don't want people to pay attention to the size, because it doesn't matter.

"I work hard. I've always been the hard worker and I'll continue to do so."

OptimumScouting.com consistently had Gallon among its top practice performers.

"The best receiver today was Michigan's Jeremy Gallon, who consistently got the type of separation I was optimistic we'd see this week," they wrote. "The smallest receiver here, Gallon needed to prove he can get free route-wise other than on underneath drag routes and deep comebacks.

"So far, he's done it this week. Much of it is thanks to his quickness at the top of his routes. He snaps his head around so quickly, transitioning from a smooth, appearing-to-be slow start into a quick burst away from his defender."

Gallon could have a nice career in the slot.
