Seven prospects add coveted fifth star

MORE: RCS Headquarters

We will reveal the new Rivals100 on Monday, May 19, at Noon ET. Read below to find out which seven athletes we elevated to Five-Star status.
Malik Jefferson
Mesquite, TX - Poteet (2015)
Jefferson is long with a good frame and has the ability to close moving forward while also being able to turn his hips and run. His length allows him to be effective in coverage on backs out of the backfield and tight ends. - Mike Farrell, Rivals.com National Recruiting Director

Jacques Patrick
Orlando, FL - Timber Creek (2015)
Patrick has great size at running back; he's learning to run lower and he's very agile and athletic for his size. He has excellent ball skills so he will be a threat in the passing game and an extra gear that is rare for a big back. - Mike Farrell, Rivals.com National Recruiting Director

Derwin James
Haines City, FL - Haines City (2015)
James is a big, physical safety who can cover outside or in the slot, or take on tight ends and running backs as well. He will be a terror down in the box in run support and he will knock some heads in the passing game. - Mike Farrell, Rivals.com National Recruiting Director

Chuma Edoga
Powder Springs, GA - McEachern (2015)
Edoga is a technician at offensive tackle using his long arms and strong hands to misdirect outside and cross over pass rushes. He doesn't have ideal offensive tackle size but it doesn't matter, he's too talented and smart to waste inside. - Mike Farrell, Rivals.com National Recruiting Director

Josh Sweat
Chesapeake, VA - Oscar Smith (2015)
Sweat looks like Jadeveon Clowney physically, and his ceiling could be as high as anyone in this class. He has improved his pad level and leverage, and his athleticism for his size is off the charts. - Mike Farrell, Rivals.com National Recruiting Director

Terry Godwin
Hogansville, GA - Callaway (2015)
Godwin has the quickest feet I've seen in a few years and he uses them to keep defenders off balance. His skills translate to offense and special teams in college, but he could also be a shutdown corner and a two-way player. - Mike Farrell, Rivals.com National Recruiting Director

Tyron Johnson
New Orleans, LA - Warren Easton Senior (2015)
Johnson is a dynamic athlete with tremendous quickness and change of direction. His ball skills are above average, and he gains separation easily and sets up defenders well. - Mike Farrell, Rivals.com National Recruiting Director
