EA SPORTS Elite 11 Quarterback Tracker

EA SPORTS is proud to present the EA SPORTS Elite 11 Quarterback Tracker, a feature which will follow the weekly progress of each of the 12 Elite 11 quarterbacks during their seasons this fall.

This past week was the first game action for five the the EA SPORTS Elite 11 quarterbacks, and they opened with mixed results, with three of the five recording victories. Meanwhile, Jake Christensen, Joe Cox, Jonathan Crompton, Chase Daniel and Ryan Perrilloux continued to build upon impressive early season performances.

Perrilloux definitely takes the honor of the week's top performer, lighting up the scoreboard last Friday night with eight total touchdowns in leading East St. John to a 77-35 victory over Central Lafourche. The 6-2, 210 pounder hit 27 of 36 passes for 484 yards and four scores while also rushing 16 times for 118 yards and four more touchdowns, accounting for an incredible 602 yards of total offense on the night.

Jake Christensen tossed five touchdowns in Lockport's 44-6 win over Thornwood, while Jonathan Crompton accounted for all five of his team's scores, three passing and two rushing, in a 34-14 win. Joe Cox threw three TDs and ran for one as his Independence Patriots extended their national-best winning streak with a 48-0 waxing of Butler, while Chase Daniel led Student Sports FAB 50 No. 1 Southlake Carroll past Plano East 41-21, passing for 282 yards and rushing for 165.

Mark Sanchez was the most impressive of the four California quarterbacks that all opened play last weekend, throwing three touchdowns as Mission Viejo took apart fellow Orange County power Los Alamitos 55-21. Willie Tuitama threw three touchdowns and Arkelon Hall two, both in losing efforts, while Kyle Reed played the first half only as McClymonds rolled past Vallejo, 62-14.

Jonathan Garner and his Mainland Bucs had their game versus Deland cancelled due to the damage that Hurricanes inflicted upon Volusia County, but will return to the field this week against Deltona. Perrilloux's game this weekend at Terrebonne could very well be postponed or cancelled as Hurricane Ivan bears down on the Gulf Coast, while Rob Schoenhoft hopes to return to action this week after missing two and a half games with a high ankle sprain.
