U of L Homecoming is sold out

File this under program building. The University of Louisville football ticket office reported Thursday that tickets to the Cardinals' next two home football games against Florida Atlantic (Oct. 1) and North Carolina (Oct. 8) are sold out.

U of L officials announced the fastest sellout of season tickets in school history before the season, and single game tickets have been sold very quickly once visiting schools return their allotment.

A limited number of tickets remain available for the Cardinals' final three home games in Papa John's Cardinal Stadium against Pittsburgh (Nov. 3), Rutgers (Nov. 11) and Syracuse (Nov. 26).

Tickets may be purchased with no service fees by visiting the U of L ticket office, located near Gate 2 of Papa John's Cardinal Stadium adjacent to Floyd Street, on weekdays from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Cardinal fans may also purchase tickets by visiting ticketmaster.com online beginning Monday (Aug. 15), calling (502) 361-3100 or visiting any Ticketmaster Ticket Center, including select statewide Kroger locations.

Elvis and Brohm get webpages

Louisville Sports Information Officials have set up two new website to help promote the performance of two top football performers, defensive end Elvis Dumervil and quarterback Brian Brohm. The new sites are hosted at UofLSports.com but include each player's individual stats and photos for each game.

Dumervil, who set NCAA records for most sacks in a game and most sakcs in consecutive games in the Cardinals' first two games, is a senior captain who is nominated for the Outland Trophy and All-American status.

Brohm, Louisville's sophomore starting quarterback, set personal records last week for completions, attempts and racked up 389 yards passing despite the loss to South Florida.
