It's a deep year in Arkansas

The class of 2007 is one of the best in recent memory in the state of Arkansas and with the entire Rivals.com Arkansas Top 15 rated three-stars or higher, that depth of talent is reflected in the first rankings release.

Rivals100 offensive tackle Lee Ziemba from Rogers, the top offensive lineman in the Natural State since his sophomore season, headlines the list. Ziemba, a Rivals.com Freshman All-American selection, has scholarship offers from nearly every school in the country and has all the tools to develop into a big-time tackle at the next level.

Little Rock Pulaski Academy running back Broderick Green, a Southern Cal commit, is the No. 2 prospect in the state. Green has excellent size and vision and is good at making people miss in the open field.

Fort Smith Northside quarterback Kodi Burns is the No. 3 prospect on the list. Burns is a tremendous athlete and a very good high school quarterback. It's not out of the question that he plays quarterback at the next level as he has tremendous arm strength and good instincts in the pocket, though one could certainly see him as a running back, wide receiver or safety in college as well.

His ability at all of those positions gives him a high value.

Tight end David Williams of Little Rock Central Arkansas Christian may not have the height that other tight ends have, but he has excellent hands. The four-star prospect can catch it and is skilled enough with the ball in his hands to pick up tough yardage after the catch. He checks in at No. 4 on the list.

Another tight end, Grant Freeman of Paris, does have the big-time size. At 6-7, 255, Freeman could become a rare weapon in the Razorbacks' offense because of his ability to go up and snatch the ball out of the air. His reach and frame, if he develops, also will give the Arkansas staff an extra tackle out on the edge in the running game.

Rounding out the top 10 is Monticello center Seth Oxner (committed to Arkansas), Springdale tight end Zack Pianalto (committed to Texas), Fort Smith Northside offensive tackle Paul Henry (committed to Ole Miss), Springdale Shiloh Christian wide receiver Crosby Tuck (committed to Arkansas) and Morrilton athlete Josh Trezvant.
