Pitt had just 49 yards of offense in the first half and finished with 270.
Next: vs. Syracuse.
The Scarlet Knights lost for the 13th consecutive time to West Virginia, falling 31-3 to the visiting Mountaineers. Rutgers committed four turnovers and couldn't stop WVU's rushing attack. Rutgers' Ray Rice ran for 142 yards.
