McDonald's All-American Team boasts two Georgians

Two of Georgia's best high school basketball players will be on the national stage March 26th at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee for the 31st annual McDonald's High School All-American Game.

Norcross' Al-Farouq Aminu and Dunwoody's Chris Singleton will be representing Georgia for the East squad in the game that will be televised at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN.

The McDonald's All-American game is widely considered the premiere showcase for the top high school basketball talent in the nation.

Aminu shined earlier in the season in a nationally televised game against the nation's top player, Greg Monroe. The 6'9, 215 Aminu will be suiting up for Wake Forest next year. Singleton, a 6'9, 225-pound forward is also headed to the ACC to play for Florida State.

This marks the second straight year that two Georgians will be featured in the game. Aminus' former teammate at Norcross, Gani Lawal played in the game last year as did Wheeler's J.J. Hickson.
