- Former Arizona recruit Mike Moser, who de-committed from the Wildcats when head coach Lute Olson stepped down last week.

The championship run for the Creek continues for the Pac-10 as teams still sit at or near the top of national polls in football [USC #5], soccer [Stanford #2] and volleyball [California #4].

Meanwhile, at NCAA HQ, the NCAA had a few proposals for change including revising the definition of a prospective men's basketball student-athlete and changing the composition of the Division I women's soccer committee.

In volleyball, the Cougars lost to rival Washington to drop to 0-9 in conference play and 7-13 overall on the year.

In football, Wazzu received verbal commitments from defensive back Jamal Atofau and offensive lineman Quayshawn Buckley.

Arizona

In football, the Wildcats received a verbal commitment from offensive lineman Chris Putton.
