Tuesday's Top Tigers

Tuesday's Top Tigers makes its return to PowerMizzou.com. Each week from now through the end of football season, we will rank the 11 Tigers who had the best week of practice or game the previous week. A player's ranking one week has no bearing on his placement on the list the next week. This is our list of the 11 Tigers who had, in our opinion, the best performances in the 41-24 win over Kansas State:

Tuesday's Top Tigers
RANK PLAYER THE ANALYSIS LAST WEEK
1 Aaron O'Neal You talk to the seniors on this team and you know how important honoring AO was to them. The kid deserves this spot. N/A
2 Jeremy Maclin, WR How about 278 yards and three touchdowns in what might be his last game at Faurot Field? 5
3 Kenji Jackson, S The freshman got his first career start and is playing really well down the stretch. 11
4 Sean Weatherspoon, LB Spoon was all over the field making plays and was close to two interceptions. N/A
5 Chase Patton, QB He is here as much for the fact he is still here contributing to the team as he is for his first career touchdown pass. N/A
6 Derrick Washington, TB Washington had a big first half while the passing game was struggling. 6
7 Ziggy Hood, DT The Cats never got a real run game going. Hood recovered a fumble and got good pressure on Josh Freeman. 8
8 Stryker Sulak, DE Sulak didn't have a sack, but he applied consistent pressure and the defensive line played well. N/A
9 William Moore, S For the first time in a while, Moore looked like Willy Mo. He made some big hits and disrupted the Wildcat offense. N/A
10 Castine Bridges, CB Bridges had a big hit on third down and had his hands on a couple of interceptions. If he had held on, he may have had two touchdowns and been on the top of this list. N/A
11 Jimmy Jackson, TB Jackson, like Patton, has never been a full-time starter. But he was rewarded for his patience and dedication with a career long 37-yard run on Saturday. N/A
