Oregon State

In women's hoop, sophomore guard Haiden Palmer and freshman forward Angela Misa have elected to transfer while the Beavers signed JC transfer forward Anna Marchbanks.



Washington

In volleyball, the University of Washington will serve as host for the 2013 NCAA national volleyball championship Final Four.



California

In women's rowing, coxswain Jill Costello, succumbed to lung cancer.



Stanford

In track and field, former Stanford athlete Erica McClain, won the triple jump title at the USA Track & Field Championships last week.



UCLA

In football, receiver Paul Richardson, defensive back Shaquille Richardson and linebacker Joshua Shirley - all freshmen - were dismissed from school after being arrested for felony theft.



Arizona State

In track and field, assistant coach David Dumble was named as assistant coach of the year by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.



WSU

In baseball, head coach Donnie Marbut was named as the 2009-10 CougZone Coach of the Year.

In track and field, Jeshua Anderson was named as the 2009-10 CougZone Athlete of the Year.

In men's hoop, Wazzu received a verbal commitment from guard Davante Lacy and sophomore guard Klay Thompson was named as a CougZone Athlete of the Year finalist.

In football, Wazzu received verbal commitments from a trio of Florida players and Oregon tight end/receiver Brock Lutes.



USC

In men's golf, USC will host the 2012 NCAA championship.



Arizona

In swimming, Wildcat swimmer Justine Schluntz was named as the Pac-10's Woman of the Year.



Oregon

In football, former Texas defensive back Marcus Davis has transferred to Oregon.
