Michigan gets big news on the recruiting trail this week after a successful weekend recruiting event as in-state 2025 four-star defensive end Bobby Kanka commits to the Wolverines.
He took to his social media accounts to make the news official.
Kanka's relationship with Mike Elston was the key for the Wolverines to lock down the Michigan native, as he has been open about his affinity for the defensive line coach and his coaching style.
“(Elston) isn’t one of those coaches who’s going to yell at you just to yell,” Kanka told M&BR. “He’s definitely a good communicator when it comes to criticizing without being unnecessarily loud. I like that way of teaching where it’s through example.”
Kanka is the third commitment of the 2025 class, joining fellow four-stars Chris Ewald and Mantrez Walker.
