Ben Bredeson goes Blue

Michigan added one of the most important pieces yet to its 2016 class this afternoon, picking up Hartland (Wisc.) Arrowhead offensive lineman Ben Bredeson. The 6-4, 280-pounder becomes the 15th overall pledge in the class, and the highest-rated.

Bredeson is the No. 4 offensive tackle and No. 49 overall prospect nationally, and the top player in Wisconsin. He had offers from other programs around the country, but the Wolverines' chief competition in the end was Notre Dame, Ohio State, and his home-state Wisconsin Badgers.
With Bredeson's commitment, Michigan's 2016 recruiting class moves up to No. 10 in the Rivals.com team recruiting rankings.
More to come on Bredeson's pledge.
