California DE Sterling Lane, Cousin Of UM Great Glen Rice, Talks Offer
Sterling Lane is starting to garner plenty of attention on the recruiting trail.
The fast-rising 2022 defensive end out of Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian is up to half a dozen offers and is seeing his recruiting stock boom.
Right now, however, Lane is taking his time with the process.
“I’m just trying to stay humble,” Lane said. “I have a lot of work to do. I have a lot of people telling me that this is the beginning and that there is more to come. It’s just been great. It’s a blessing to get these offers.”
Michigan jumped in the mix for Lane last week, joining Kansas, LSU, Missouri, Oregon and Utah. The offer came as a bit of a surprise.
