Emil Ekiyor Decommits From Michigan, Commits To Alabama
After a long-time commitment to Michigan, Indianapolis Cathedral four-star offensive guard Emil Ekiyor has flipped to Alabama.
The 6-4, 339-pounder has been flirting with the Tide for a long, long time and after taking several visits this year he has decided to flip his commitment to Nick Saban and Alabama.
Ekiyor was very happy with Michigan for a long time but over the past six months or so things began to deteriorate. He explained why the flip was the right move for him.
"I have just have to do what's best for me," Ekiyor said. "After I took my official visit to Alabama things sort of stopped with Michigan. It's just the relationships I've built with the staff at Alabama."
Michigan now has just two commitments along the offensive line in Traverse City (Mich.) West three-star offensive tackle Ryan Hayes and Grand Rapids (Mich.) Catholic Central three-star offensive tackle Jalen Mayfield.
