Kathryn Peterson scored two second-half penalty stroke goals to lift the Wolverines over the Nittany Lions. When the two teams met earlier in the season in Ann Arbor, Penn State got the best of Michigan, with a 2-1 win.

Now, Michigan got revenge on Penn State, and it will advance to its third straight Big Ten title game. Michigan and Northwestern met one time earlier this season. Michigan lost, 1-0, in double overtime to the Wildcats in Evanston back on Oct. 21.

Michigan has now won four games in a row, dating back to the loss in Evanston to the Wildcats. The Wolverines will be looking to make it five in a row on Sunday against No. 3 seed Northwestern.
