Harbaugh In To See Nauta

Not Jim Harbaugh, but his son, U-M tight ends coach Jay, will stop by Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy today to meet with five-star tight end Isaac Nauta. Michigan and Georgia are the No. 1 tight end (and No. 18 overall prospect)'s top two schools, and with turmoil in Athens, the Maize and Blue can make a strong push.

The 6-4, 243-pound Nauta is originally from Jacksonville, but lives in the Atlanta area and is a boarding student at IMG Academy. The Wolverines have sold Nauta on his fit in the pro-style offense (a 48-reception, 620-yard, three-touchdown regular season for junior Jake Butt doesn't hurt in that regard). Georgia's coaching hire could make a significant impact on his fit in Athens.
The Wolverines, however, will have to sell him on going far from home. There's a silver lining there, as well: much of his family originally hails from West Michigan.
