J'Marick Woods Goes Blue

Michigan has its second commitment of the morning. Florence (Ala.) 2017 safety J'Marick Woods has given his pledge to U-M, following Massachusetts running back AJ Dillon.

The 6-2, 187-pound Woods is the eighth commitment in the class, and first from the state of Alabama - which will continue to be a focus under this coaching staff. The Wolverines also offered his 2016 teammate Errol Thompson, who signed with Mississippi State in February.

Although his Florence team struggled to a 4-8 record in 2015, the three-star Woods managed to garner first-team All-State honors in Class 6A, the second largest in the Yellowhammer State.
