Kelly has already spent some significant time in Ann Arbor and will return September 18 for the game against UNLV.
Trips to Oregon for the Ducks' contest against Washington State, to Texas November 7 when the Longhorns host Kansas, to Oklahoma November 21 when the Sooners play host to TCU, and to Notre Dame on December 11 round out Kelly's five official visits.
The 6-3, 214-pounder is the No. 17 prospect in the country and No. 2 player in the talent-rich state of California making his out-of-state officials both understandable, and also unique. Traveling to far away campuses seems like the thing to do when the school is footing the bill, but it's rare for a prospect to take all five away from the home state. Early predictions are for Kelly to choose either Michigan or Oklahoma but the official visits will go a long way in his final decision.
