Just less than a week after picking up commitment No. 6 in the 2015 class, Michigan has added No. 7 as well. Indianapolis Lawrence Central linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr. made the call this afternoon during an unofficial visit to campus.
"I've Officially Committed to The University of Michigan & I'm Ready to Join Team 136," he posted on his Twitter account.
Kirkland is a 6-1, 233-pounder ranked the No. 6 inside linebacker and No. 183 overall player nationally. He is also Indiana's top player. He was named the fourth-best linebacker throughout the course of the Rivals Camp Series following his strong performance at the Columbus stop.
