Michael Jordan Named Honorary Captain Of Home Opener

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh joined the Rich Eisen Show today and announced that the face of the Jordan Brand, Michael Jordan, will be the honorary captain of the Wolverines on September 3 against Hawaii.

Jordan, arguably the greatest NBA player of all-time, is a legend so having him inside the Big House when they debut their brand new Jordan kits will be a spectacle only Jim Harbaugh himself can put on.

The Jordan/NIKE release is set to release online at 11:59 PM on July 31, and a release party will begin at midnight on August 1 at the M Den with all of the new gear on hand.
