2025 4-star OL and Michigan State legacy Kaden Strayhorn has committed to the Wolverines.

Strayhorn chose Michigan over the Spartans, Ohio State, Alabama, and others. Strayhorn's father, Jason, is a former Michigan State football captain and the color commentator for Spartan football games alongside George Blaha.

"Michigan checked all the boxes for me," Strayhorn told Rivals. "The people are the reason I’m going there. Coach Moore and Newsome are incredible and I’m blessed to be part of the university."

Originally from Detroit, Strayhorn transferred to IMG Academy. Currently listed as a guard, the expectation is Strayhorn could play center for Michigan.

Strayhorn is a versatile lineman with good footwork and upper-body strength. He can get to the second level and should be an above-average run blocker in college.

New Michigan OL coach Grant Newsome and head coach Sherrone Moore worked together to recruit Strayhorn. With the success of Michigan's offensive line under Moore expected to continue under his mentee Newsome, it looks like Michigan's success on the trail with OL will continue.

Strayhorn joins tackle Avery Gach in the 2025 class.
