"My career at Michigan can only be described as a true Michigan man experience," Morris wrote, in a farewell letter he posted. "I've went through plenty of lows, but those lows made me into the man I am today. A champion in life and in football. I wouldn't change my experience at Michigan for anything in the world."

A former four-star recruit, Morris came to Michigan from Boca Raton, Florida as the nation's 18th-rated defensive end.

Morris didn't see game action as a freshman in 2019, but he really came into his own as a pass rusher during his last two seasons with the Wolverines.

He totaled 37 tackles in his final two seasons with Michigan, along with 11.5 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks. He was one of the leaders on Michigan's "no star" defense in 2022, before he got hurt, forcing him to miss games against Illinois and Purdue late in the season.

"I would also like to thank my family for instilling great values in me," he added in his letter. "Thank my coaches for putting me and my teammates in positions to succeed. Thank Coach Harbaugh for his support and love. I would also like to thank the greatest university in the world for their endless support of me and this football team."
