Michigan draws four seed in the South, S. Dakota St.

Michigan will face South Dakota St. in the first round of the NCAA Tournament as a No. 4 seed in the South, playing at the Palace of Auburn Hills (Mich.). A second round match-up with VCU looms.
South Dakota State's Jackrabbits played one Big Ten team this year, losing 88-64 to Minnesota. Their results here: South Dakota St.

VCU, a No. 5 seed, plays No. 12 Akron.
Florida is the No. 3 seed, Georgetown the two and Kansas the one in the South Region. Sweet 16 games would be played in North Texas.
