The 6-6, 305-pounder is a three-star that is ranked as the No. 64 offensive tackle in the nation.

The big tackle prospect impressed the Michigan coaches at their big man camp on campus last week and was the lone lineman prospect to pick up an offer at the conclusion of the camp.

"Right after the camp Coach [Tim] Drevno pulled me aside and offered me. It was awesome," Stueber said. "Then I toured the campus and met with Coach [Jim] Harbaugh."

As soon as the camp and tour concluded, Stueber realized that Michigan was going to be tough to turn down.

"I was considering everyone but I definitely put Michigan high on my list," Stueber said. "Michigan has always been a dream school. It's huge. I've been really happy with the recruiting process but Michigan has always been a school that stood out to me so to have that opportunity to me is awesome."

Stueber is now tackle No. 2 in Michigan's 2017 class joining Oak Park (Mich.) three-star Ja'Raymond Hall. Berrien Springs (Mich.) big man Phillip Paea is listed as an offensive guard by Rivals.com but the Michigan coaches like him as an interior d-lineman. The Connecticut native chose Michigan over schools like Boston College, Duke, North Carolina, Northwestern, Penn State, Tennessee, and Virginia.
