Flint (Mich.) Carman-Ainsworth 2020 quarterback Dustin Fletcher’s brother has an offer from Michigan.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound signal caller hopes to hear from Michigan and eventually attend school together, as the duo do now at Carman-Ainsworth.

“It would be great to hear from Michigan and to also play with my brother,” Fletcher said. “That’s something we are interested in. The right fit that takes a chance on both of us would be something to consider.”

Fletcher’s brother, 2019 three-star defensive end Michael Fletcher, has 21 offers, including one to play for the Wolverines. Dustin hopes to visit with his big brother soon.

“I’m not sure yet (about a Michigan visit),” Dustin said. “I have to see how everything works out.”

Dustin has four offers on his chart to Central Michigan, Indiana, Northern Illinois and Western Illinois. He has been hearing from a handful of schools, including Wake Forest, Michigan State, Kentucky, Western Michigan, Toledo, Ball State and Bowling Green.

“Ball State told me an offer is probably going to come once they see me throw in the fall,” Fletcher said. “Most schools that have been talking to me just need to see me throw.”

Even though Ann Arbor is just 51 driving minutes from Flint and East Lansing is only 44 minutes away, Dustin does not have a dream school.

“I don’t have a dream school,” Fletcher said. “I just want to go to a school that’s a great fit for me. I want to be able to help the program.”

Michael, a 6-foot-5, 233-pound defensive end, is ranked No. 41 at his position in the 2019 class and No. 11 in the state of Michigan.

In the 2017 regular season, Dustin completed 88-of-174 passes for 1,468 yards, 13 touchdowns, and six interceptions. On the ground, he scrambled for 81 times for 328 yards and three scores.
