The 6-0, 216-pounder has always been high on Michigan and made the plunge Saturday afternoon. Thomas' commitment is big from a couple of different angles. He's another highly talented prospect originally from the state of Georgia giving Michigan some early momentum in the 2019 class in The Peach State. Now, Thomas is at IMG Academy, another institution that Michigan seems to have some momentum at. IMG will continue to be the top talent producing high school in the country so landing players from there year in and year out is definitely something a lot of programs are trying to do.
Thomas held offers from Auburn, Clemson, Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia along with a few others but Michigan won out over them all.
