Loganville (Ga.) Grayson three-star offensive tackle Trente Jones committed to Michigan joining Louisville (Ky.) Trinity four-star weakside defensive end Stephen Herron, Norcross (Ga.) Greater Atlanta Christian five-star strongside defensive end Christopher Hinton, Akron (Ohio) Hoban four-star offensive guard Nolan Rumler and Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy three-star outside linebacker Charles Thomas.
A couple of the commits took to Twitter to express their joy in gaining a new future teammate and a couple of them also gave a quick thought about gaining another brother.
Hinton wasted no time in tweeting about Jones' commitment and made it a point to shout out their home state.
Hinton also added his own reaction to landing another player from Georgia.
"I’ve ran into him a couple of times but I don’t know him on a personal level," Hinton explained. "It’s still exciting, though. Especially a great player like him, it’s really exciting."
Rumler isn't overly outspoken on Twitter but was happy that Michigan added another big ugly to the class.
"I don't know him but it's cool to finally have another offensive lineman," Rumler said.
Thomas is originally from Georgia but now plays for IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. He too took to Twitter to welcome a new member of the "family".
