One of the most dynamic athletes in the nation committed to Michigan about three weeks ago now, in 2019 Oakley (Calif.) Freedom High athlete Giles Jackson. Not only is it a huge pickup for the Wolverines because of the versatility Jackson brings to an offense, with the ability to return kicks, catches passes and also run from the backfield, Jackson also marks the second commitment from the state of California for U-M in this class. Michigan had previously gone since the 2016 class without a commitment from the state.
