Michigan Makes The Cut For Luiji Vilain

Alexandria (Va.) Episcopal 2017 defensive end Luiji Vilain had cut his list, and Michigan is still in the running. The native of Ontario, Canada counts 14 programs among those still in the mix.

Even though Michigan was one of the first schools Vilain showed interest in - thanks to Ann Arbor's proximity to Ontario and a number of events held in the Great Lakes State - U-M is among the more recent offers. That won't harm them with the 6-4, 240-pounder, though.

In addition to Vilain, Michigan has also offered friend and teammate Jonathan Sutherland, a Rivals250 cornerback.

The Wolverines already hold a pledge from one Canadian, Montreal cornerback Benjamin St-Juste, originally a member of the 2016 class who will instead play one more year of high school ball in Quebec and enroll in January.
