A national writer raised eyebrows recently when he compared Michigan head coach John Beilein's transfer "policy" to that of Wisconsin head coach Bo Ryan. For those who missed it, Ryan initially gave forward Jarrod Uthoff permission to transfer, but limited his schools to those outside the Big Ten and ACC as well as Marquette, Iowa State and Florida.
