Michigan Pledge Aaron Lewis Updates Commitment Status
Future Wolverine Aaron Lewis finished his senior season with a title on Saturday afternoon.
The three-star prospect helped Williamstown (N.J.) High defeat Marlton (N.J.) Cherokee, to win the Group V New Jersey state championship. Lewis played the entire game while having a cast on his hand. He sustained a thumb injury during the playoffs.
Lewis expects to make a full recovery and is looking forward to his next chapter. The Michigan commit can’t wait to get to Ann Arbor.
“I told them I injured my thumb and they’ve shown me so much support and loyalty,” Lewis said. “They think that when I get there, I’ll have a few weeks of rehab and lifting then I’ll be on the field for my freshman year. I love it there”
Something to take note of is that the state finals were played at Rutgers, where Greg Schiano has recently returned to be the head coach. Several members of the Rutgers staff were on site to watch the finals and had their eyes on Lewis.
