The Latest: Daniels hails from the Lone Star State, but actually has a Michigan connection: he attended Muskegon (Mich.) Mona Shores earlier in his high school career. Michigan is in the door relatively early for him, but schools closer to his current home in Texas have a leg up, because he plans to take some regional visits this spring.
