Michigan has begun to make serious inroads in South Florida, with a trio of Pembroke Pines Flanagan teammates and Cooper City defensive end Rashad Weaver all committed in the 2016 class. The Wolverines have even made an impact at Columbus High (though not yet with any results), offering 2016 defensive end Josh Uche, who visits next weekend, and Thomas's classmate, defensive back Trajan Bandy. Landing Uche would be huge, but either way, U-M needs to get the 2017 prospects on-campus to have a chance.
