The Latest: Gilbert is starting to get a lot of
attention on the recruiting trail because of his length and his
ability to defend one-on-one. He has already visited North
Carolina and N.C. State for their junior days in January and also
went to games at both places last fall. It's worth noting that
Gilbert is the son of former PItt and NFL standout defensive
lineman Sean Gilbert. His cousin, Darrelle Revis played at PItt as
well, while his other cousin, Reggie Mitchell, is currently a
Panther.
