NFL Wolverines: Who made the cut

Several former Michigan Men made NFL teams again this year, but there were a few surprise cuts. Here's a list of those who made it along with some notes …
Starting with the practice squad Wolverines:

Former safety Jordan Kovacs is on the Miami Dolphins Practice Squad and told the Toledo Blade the Dolphins expect him to be called up soon. Not bad for a guy former OSU linebacker and current ESPN commentator Chris Spielman once called "a nice little scrub" who should be playing for Indiana.
Rookie linebacker Kenny Demens made the Arizona Cardinals 53-man roster, but was later released and signed to the practice squad.
Rookie offensive guard Patrick Omameh was cut by San Francisco but placed on the team's practice squad.
Rookie defensive end Craig Roh was cut by the Carolina Panthers but also placed on the practice squad.
Those who were released during or after camp and have not been signed by anyone else (at least yet): WR Roy Roundtree (Cincinnati), OG Elliott Mealer (New Orleans), WR Steve Breaston (New Orleans), OL David Molk and Steve Schilling (San Diego), P Zoltan Mesko (New England), WR Braylon Edwards (New York Jets).
Molk was a surprise, once considered the heir apparent at center for the Chargers. Breaston has had knee problems which have limited him since his 1,000-yard season in Arizona, while Mesko is expected to latch on with another team (this was considered a 'money move' by some).
In other notes, former Wolverine and UMass RB transfer Michael Cox made the New York Giants' 53-man roster.
This year's NFL Wolverines:
Jason Avant (2002-05), WR, Philadelphia Eagles
David Baas (2000-04), OL, New York Giants
