Pro Blue Update: Naz Hillmon notches double-double for Atlanta Dream

The most decorated player in Michigan women's basketball history has been tearing it up for her professional team, the Atlanta Dream, as of late. Naz Hillmon, who was drafted 15th overall by the Dream in the 2022 WNBA Draft, started her rookie season coming off the bench, but has now emerged as a starter and has been stuffing the stat sheet lately.

The rookie has found her groove. In her last six games, Hillmon has averaged 6.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. She notched her first-career double-double with a 13-point, 11-rebound performance last Friday against the Connecticut Sun.

Just a handful of days after recording her first-career double-double, the 6-foot-2 forward nearly did it again in a 82-72 loss to the Seattle Storm. Hillmon tallied a career-best 14 rebounds and came up just shy of the double-double with nine points.

Although it has been a rough season for the Atlanta Dream, which currently sit at 12-16, Hillmon has clearly found her role in the WNBA. Her increasing workload is a sign of good things to come for the former Wolverine.
