Starting quarterback Matt Schilz suffered a shoulder injury that will keep him out of Bowling Green's game at Michigan Saturday, BGNewssports.com reported Sept. 20. On today's depth chart, it was listed that either Aaron Pankratz OR Kellen Pagel would get the start in Ann Arbor.
Schilz reportedly went down on a sack in the third quarter during a 44-28 win over Marshall and had been playing well to that point, BGNewssports.com reported, including a first quarter touchdown pass. Pankratz, however, reportedly played well in relief, completing 8-of-11 passes for 111 yards and a touchdown.
Pankratz would be the likely starter given that Pagel, a redshirt freshman, has yet to see any game action in his career.
