Report: Harris staying
Two down, one to go.
After remaining non-committal as late as Tuesday afternoon following a Monday night conversation with new U-M head coach John Beilein, Michigan signee Corperryale "Manny" Harris [Detroit Redford] has confirmed he plans to honor his letter of intent, the Detroit News reported in its Wednesday edition.
"I'm staying," Harris said. "That's where my heart is. With [Michigan assistant Mike] Jackson back, it made me feel more comfortable. But I still had to make the best decision for me."
Harris said he spoke with East Grand Rapids standout and U-M signee Kelvin Grady last week and learned Grady was staying. Grady's dad, Kevin Grady Sr., confirmed as much with TheWolverine.com over the weekend.
Meanwhile, watch for a weekend decision from third signee Alex Legion [Oak Hill Academy] this weekend, according to the News.
"I'm starting to like Michigan more and more," the paper quoted Legion as saying.
