Rising 2021 Pacific Northwest OL William Reed Talks Michigan Offer

Michigan is continuing to target prospects out of the Pacific Northwest.

The Wolverines dipped into the region this week and put an offer on the table for three-star offensive tackle William Reed out of national powerhouse Sammamish (Wash.) Eastside Catholic.

And it’s safe to say Reed was fired up about the new offer.

“It definitely means a lot to me,” Reed said. “It’s the prototypical school that I’ve always looked for. I’m talking about high-level football and academics. Michigan is a school like Cal and Duke, but it’s a big-time football offer. It’s a school that every kid dreams about when they’re younger. It’s kind of surreal.”

Michigan already has three offensive line commits this cycle but could land as many as half a dozen when it’s all said and done. The Wolverines love Reed’s projection and ceiling as a tackle.
