Roseboro decommits

Michigan's top-ranked commit in the 2015 class will also be its shortest-lived. Lincolnton (N.C.) defensive end Darian Roseboro has decommitted from Michigan.
The 6-4, 283-pounder is ranked the No. 6 defensive tackle (though he was slated to play end at Michigan) and No. 42 overall player nationally by Rivals.com. The decommitment comes on the heels of a surprise official visit to N.C. State - the runner-up when Roseboro committed to Michigan Aug. 29 - a sign that Roseboro's pledge was on extremely shaky ground.

With Roseboro out of the fold, Michigan's class is down to ten members, and will drop to No. 27 nationally, in a tie with Oklahoma (though the Sooners have four more pledges than the Maize and Blue). U-M will attempt to fill Roseboro's spot with another strongside defensive end - legacy prospect Tyrone Wheatley Jr. is one option at the position - and the pressure to look for a true pass-rusher along the defensive line ramps up.
The Wolverines will host Orange (Calif.) Lutheran five-star end/linebacker Keisean Lucier-South in just over a week for the Penn State night game.
