Sammy Faustin Elated By Michigan Offer
Michigan has offered a lot of prospects from the state of Florida and one of the more recent recipients is Naples cornerback Sammy Faustin. The 6-2, 170-pounder is currently unranked but is starting to put together a solid offer list that already included Arizona, Kentucky, Maryland and Virginia, and others, before Michigan came along. The rangy corner doesn't know a ton about U-M yet but was very happy to pick up the offer.
"I know they're in the Big Ten conference and they have done a really good job the past two seasons," he said. "I really like their team. They flat out make plays on both sides of the ball. Their uniforms and accessories are nice too. That Jordan stuff is big."
After naming off a couple of things that he did know he reverted back to what all prospects seem to know about — Jim Harbaugh.
"I don't know too much else but I know that Coach Harbaugh is a person who hates to lose," Faustin explained. "I really like that."
Faustin said that he wants to visit Michigan soon and that it could take place during spring ball. The Florida native has the build that Michigan seems to be targeting at cornerback and Faustin is definitely happy about that.
