Shocky Jacques-Louis Puts Michigan In Top Group
As one of the more recently offered players in the 2018 class, Fort Myers (Fla.) Dunbar three-star athlete Shocky Jacques-Louis hasn't been involved with Michigan for too long but apparently the staff's approach is working. The 6-0, 170-pounder tweeted last night that U-M would be one of five schools he'll focus on moving forward.
Jacques-Louis explained why Michigan is worth of a top spot among his many offers.
"The University of Michigan is a great school and a great opportunity to even have in my top five," he said. "What stands out to me is their production of good wide receivers and a chance to play with some of the best athletes."
Michigan will now battle Pittsburgh, Missouri, Kentucky, where Jacques-Louis was formerly committed, and Tennessee for the three-star's services with the Volunteers believed to be out in front. Jacques-Louis hasn't visited Ann Arbor yet but hopes to this fall, likely for an official visit.
