Cheshire (Conn.) Cheshire Academy four-star wide receiver Tarik Black has committed to Michigan. The 6-3, 201-pounder made the decision public during a ceremony held at his school which was streamed live via Facebook.

Black, Rivals.com's No. 10 wide receiver and No. 76 overall prospect nationally, took an official visit to Michigan back in early September for the season opener and that seemed to push U-M out front.

"That visit was great," Black said. "It was my first official visit and it was 'Welcome Week' with all of the students coming back and everyone was just ready to get the year going. I really had a great time and got to spend some time with the coaches and players. It was a great environment, 110,000 people, so it couldn't have gone any better."

The talented receiver was in Ann Arbor this past weekend for a very low-key unofficial visit and, while it wasn't overly publicized, it likely sealed the deal for the Wolverines.

Black had a top five consisting of Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, Stanford, and UCLA with the Maize and Blue winning out over some of college football's top programs.
