Three-star ATH Jo'Ziah Edmond flips from Purdue to Michigan
Michigan football has gained another member of its class of 2024 as three-star ATH Jo'Ziah Edmond announced his commitment to the program on Tuesday night after receiving an offer from the Wolverines this past weekend.
The announcement from the Indiana native comes just hours after he backed off his commitment to Purdue, where he had been committed to since June 10 of this year.
Edmond is a versatile player who has played multiple skill positions on offense and in the secondary on defense at Indianapolis Warren Central High School. Purdue recruited him as a defensive back, and it seems like the Wolverines are doing the same, although it's clear Edmond has the ability to play on each side of the ball.
He has since transferred to Northwood to play his senior season in Nappanee, IN.
Edmond becomes the 27th member of Michigan's class of 2024, which ranks in the top five in college football.
The 6-foot-1, 183-pounder is the fourth ranked player in the state of Indiana and is the No. 43 ATH in the nation.
